Students Need Privacy Rules for AI
AI tools can feel like private study partners, but students should still be careful about what they share. Personal information, school records, private messages, passwords, and sensitive details should be protected.
Basic Privacy Rules
- Do not paste passwords, account details, private messages, or personal documents into AI tools.
- Be careful with names, addresses, phone numbers, student IDs, and private school information.
- Do not upload someone else’s work, messages, or personal data without permission.
- Use school-approved tools when your school provides them.
- Ask a parent, teacher, or advisor if you are unsure whether something is safe to share.
Protect Yourself and Others
Good AI habits include privacy, honesty, verification, and respect for other people’s information.
